Derby bands

OK most local gig nights are organised and booked by the bands themselves or local promoters. The Vic can be hired out by either of these to put on a gig. To book The Vic to put on a gig email us at

We are committed to putting Derby bands on as local support to the touring bands we book whenever we can. If you are a band that is well polished and good at what you do it is likely we already know of you, if not email us at and remind us.

Out of town bands

We appreciate it is difficult to get gigs outside of your home town however we unfortunately do not book out of town bands unless the booking is through an agency.

Please don't send us your CDs as we don't get time to listen to them all unfortunately, so it is just wasting your time and money.

The best thing to do is to get over to one of the local forums listed below and start chatting to other local bands to try and organise a gig swap or similar with a Derby band. Obviously MySpace is also a great way to find Derby bands and organise gigs with them.
